Portrait Artist

She does work ranging from executive portraits, to family groups and children. The artistic quality of Ling's portraits will provide a dramatic focal point for your office or home.

Ling started drawing at age seven while growing up in Communist China. She has done hundreds of graphite portrait works depicting farmers and workers as that was the only subject matter allowed. During her youth in China she had dreamed of branching out from the medium of pencil to Oil Painting but that was not financially possible in that controlled environment. As a result Ling mastered the techniques to make her graphite work look like black and white "copy machine" duplicates of color masterpieces. 

Soon after moving to America in 1996 Ling branched out to Oil Pastel and then Oil Paint Portraits. The Artist now  lives in Georgia where she is commissioned for Portraits and Oil Reproductions like the example above.
