LiJing Ling's portraits in graphite and oil pastels have represented fine traditional portraiture for over thirty years.

She does work ranging from executive portraits, to   family groups and kids. The artistic quality of Ling's portraits will provide a dramatic focal point for your office or home.

Ling's style is realistic. She is skilled at handling oil paint, oil pastel and graphite mediums at times mixing them to achieve the desired results.

The artist meets her clients at their location or in her studio for the initial portrait setup. In a photographic session she captures the personality and desired attitude of the subject. Additional live sittings may be scheduled according to the subject's availability and preferences.

After following these basic steps, Ling begins the portrait in her studio and carries the work as far as possible from assembled references. The portrait is completed by the artist and received by the client after final approval.
